Stunning! Gerte Hacker Gold Foil on Copper Enameled Plate 1960s MCM Art 9-3/4

For sale here is an exceptional enameled copper plate, delicately decorated with tiny flowers outlined in gold and embellished with orange, white and black enamel and accented with spots of gold foil. A branch large with multiple leaves drawn in gold and also filled with gold foil is off to one side. Signed on the back in gold, "Gerte Hacker".

This is an eye-catching and innovative piece of mid-20th-century artistic expression and a must-have for advanced collections. She achieved local and national recognition and numerous awards throughout her career. Measuring 9-3/4" in diameter and about 1-3/8" deep, this clean and simple design attracts attention quietly. Condition is excellent vintage condition, with no losses found to the face of the plate.
